List of terms and meanings used in Neorth

band - the smallest unit of a Tribe.

Canids - a term used to describe therian Tribes with the ability to transform into an animal from the Canidae family.
Clan - a term used to describe different vampire families (related through kinship).
Chief - a title used to describe the oldest living member of a certain Tribe; also Tribe's leader.
Coven - the smallest unit of a Clan.

D
Doyens - (m Doyen, f Doyenne); a title used to describe the first generation of vampires born from the Elders. They are the most powerful individuals within the Clan after the Elder.

eidolon - therianthrope in his/hers Ghost form.
Elder - a title used to describe the first vampires that were born from human parents; a title used to describe the leader of a Clan, also its oldest member.

Felids - a group of therian Tribes possessing the ability to transform into an animal from the Felidae family.
Firstborn - a general title given to vampires created through birth (whether with both vampire or one human parent).

Ghost - a therian's inner animal form that they are able to transform into.

Human Firstborn - a title given to vampires born from one vampire, one human parent.

Shimulo - an old romani term for a vampire.
Strigoi - an old romanian term for a vampire male.
Strigoiaca - an old romanian term for a vampire female.

Tribe - a term used to describe a therianthrope family (related through kinship).
